  1. They’re planning ahead for trading Lowe by keeping Horowitz and just in case they decide to trade Ohern seems like the logical thing they’re doing planning for the trade deadline as usual

  2. When you say OHearn doesnt have platoon splits, what are you talking about? Are you just looking at his 2025 and extrapolating? The dude has pronounced career splits. Id recommend you bake some platoon splits into your expectations!

  3. It's pretty simple. If the issue is hitters, Cherington will do the wrong thing. He doesn't value hitting, and that's probably not a bad thing, since he wouldn't recognize a hitter if the guy bashed him in the head with a bat.

  4. Horwitz is your 1st baseman, Lowe at 2nd and O'Hearn DH and OF and 1b against lefties. Horwitz has only played 2 seasons and hasn't got a chance against lefties. He did get some at bats towards the end of last season and was ok in my eyes.

  5. Thank you DK. It's been way to long sense we've had a dangerous hitter. I don't see this happening anytime soon, but later may not be an option as Paul Skenes option is getting closer. Great show DK as always.
