Jets hire ex-head coach Frank Reich as offensive coordinator

Always a Bills legend in my book, I’ll be rooting for him in the sense that I hope despite the Jets missing the playoffs for a 16th consecutive year, that this isn’t his final career stop.
I feel bad for the guy, history dictates he will be fired by this time next year
He will be acting head coach by week 8. I thought Glenn was a decent hire by the jets at the time and he still could be but his team was flat out non competitive the last 5 games. In year 1 in Detroit dan at least had his team competitive in most games year 1
I thought he was essentially retiring? I guess being around the smart kids at Stanford refuelled his love of coaching.
This is a really good hire by the Jets. He was the OC for the Eagles when they won the SB with Nick Foles. He’s not a “yes man” at all.
No hate in my heart for Frank Reich ever. Even as a Jete.
Little bit of fuel for WGR today. Tom from the Westside will be massively disappointed.

I actually feel like the Jets new GM has been doing a good job. Building up through the trenches and putting a strong OL together, got very strong returns in the trades from Sauce and Q Williams. But man Aaron Glenn is such a disaster. Hopefully they fire him soon enough to prevent him from tanking them to the #1 pick next year
I had thought of his name when we were still looking for an OC. Has experience both play calling and not, long tenured veteran which fit the job description well.
