Dodged a bullet here. Let’s save that money for Raddysh
That’s much cheaper than I thought it was going to take
He must want an ignorant amount of money if that’s the return
That’s downright fire sale compared to what people were saying he’d fetch …
Oh that’s not at all what was discussed.
thank you kings
Oh no anyways
Side note, but Adam Schefter breaking the biggest (most likely) hockey trade of the year during the NBA trade deadline and during Super Bowl week is pretty funny
The contract that will be signed will justify why the trade was made.
That return is brutal imo.
*Edit*,
Supposedly Panarin said LA is the only place he wanted to go.
Honestly while Panarin is a solid player, he’s not at all the caliber he once was and I feel like while he would thrive in Tampa, we could do better with that kind of money spent. I also question some of his off ice behaviors, although he seems to have aged and matured a bit.
Adam Schefter reports on an nhl trade?
Excellent
Thank god lol, maybe now yall can stfu about a playoff choker
I was not wanting Panarin here, good news.
Good
Damn that’s super cheap compared to what we could’ve sent. We must’ve been all in on the “rental” and not the long term contract.
I don’t know how many people in this sub are familiar with the SA allegations against Panarin, but that alone was enough for me not to want him on this team.
So Stamkos at 50% retained back on the table?
For that cheap, I’m a little sad we couldn’t get him as a rental. Definitely didn’t want to sign him long term though. Way too expensive for an already great top 6
I’m just glad he’s out of the division.
Whew, I haven’t said anything cuz so many people were thinking he was landing in Tampa but really happy we aren’t trying to acquire aging forwards.
It was a 2 year, 22million extension….Really not as bad as everyone thought…
Honestly we are on a heater. We dont need to mess with what is working right now. Wouldve been nice to get him sure but I like the core guys we have now
Good. We avoided long-term pain there.
The good things are we can hopefully save money to resign Raddysh and Panarin is going to the west.
