    Da Bulls need to take a page from Da Bears and get REAL management, defined by a PROVEN GM (who builds through the draft WITHOUT a desire to tank every season) and a NBA-level (not college) coach who know how to make in-game adjustments and a coaching staff dedicated to developing every player on the squad.

    Never going to get good players to come to this team until then. WHO does a PLUS-ten year rebuild?!

16. I don't understand why the Bulls didn't capitalize when his value was high last year. Could have gotten much more for him and Vuc – we essentially got nothing for either. We waited so long into the season to make these moves that even if we "tank" the rest of the year, we aren't getting a top 5 pick

27. The league views us as a joke. They know we are always the team to blink and take below market value on any type of trade. 2nd round picks are valueable to teams that have an eye for talent and nurture that talent. The bulls have proven to do neither. They cant even hit on 1st round picks

Second round picks can be used to: 1. draft players. 2. move up in a particular draft. 3. sweeten a trade proposal that otherwise may not have been accepted by a trade partner. 4. help remove an unwanted player contract.

40. For the fans that don't understand this trade.. Bulls were not gonna pay Coby the 25m+/Yr he wanted this offseason.

    The reason McCain got a 1st is because he's on his rookie deal. The reason Coby didn't is because he is effectively a rental (UFA after this season). I doubt the Bulls keep Sexton as well. Plus, half the fans wanted Coby gone anyway.

    The Chicago Bulls are a development team. They draft players with the intent to develop their talents and when the time is right they trade them to teams that do try to win.
    The Bulls have no intention of winning championships or even making the playoffs. They're just milking the fanbase of money.
