Kyler fits the Shanahan/McVay offense style like a fat guy fits a bodybuilding contest.
Of course they are going to move on from him as soon as they can.
This interview makes me think Kyler is gone. When asked about what he looks for in a QB he says toughness/ability to make a throw while getting hit. While I still like Kyler, that is one of the things he is the worst at.
But everyone on this sub keeps replying to me saying there’s no point in trading/cutting him and that he’s the best QB on the roster and that he can finally improve 8 years later
Kyler was gone the minute he didn’t suite up in Dallas.
That being said 3:03 to 3:09 really stood out to me.
It’s not even a question of him leaving anymore but it’s how the Cardinals move him, either by trade or outright cutting him. A lot depends on how the Cardinals wanna attack Free Agency, I think the Cardinals agree to eat like $25M of Kyler’s contract to get a 3rd or 4th round pick back from whatever team and then use cap space to some Offensive Lineman and a WR and RB to cater to LaFleur’s offense.
Pretty sure the Cardinals would actually save money by moving on from Murray at this point.
Unsure if Lafleur will get the qb he wants with Monti/Bidwill involved.
Its an urgency to get rid of Murray!
