Like Freddy Peralta, the Twins were allegedly “in on” Framber Valdez

$115. Not million. Just $115. That’s probably how ‘in’ the Pohlads were
I’m sure… just as I’m in the dating pool for Sabrina Carpenter.
Edit: like, they have to be purposefully planting this shit right. Like, they reach out to the reporter and say “we need you to tell fans we were in too, right up until the end”.
Sure, Jan
How much did the Pohlads pay Jesse Rogers to tweet this
Didn’t even really make sense. SP is the one thing this team does have.
How about a bullpen and a competent lineup? $30+ million would go a lot farther with those spots.
Narrator – The Twins truly believed Valdez would accept their competitive volunteer pitcher offer.
I was also “in on”
“In” – we just called to say hi
FWIW Bonnes was on KFAN the other morning and said they wouldn’t have published the Valdez story on Twins Daily “if there wasn’t a reason”
Doubt.

“Even the Twins”
Lol
You can get rid of falvey but you can never get rid of his spirit
Yeah right.
I sometimes feel that the Twins will put the word out on certain players just to keep fans pacified. Over the years, they are frequently reported to be “in on” decent FAs. Until they sign, that is.
If I had a nickel for every time I heard those words about the Twins and a coveted free agent, I could probably afford the team.
Correa fell to them out of sheer circumstance, and ended up being a questionable deal anyway. Donaldson was slightly past his prime and turned out to be more of a red-ass than a clubhouse chemist. Definitely didn’t help that his signing came just before a season without any ticket sales
And of course, a few other signings have gone great despite the players being past their prime (e.g. Boomstick).
The only large contracts one can really ever expect from the Twins are to retain homegrown stars. 👯
hahahahahahahah
hahahahahaha
ahahahahaha
At the end of the day, Its clear, with the comments from Pohlad that the Twins are expected to win this year. In his mind
The Twins are not set up to win. Pohlad is clearly deluded
I would not be shocked if Zoll is trying to figure out literally ANYTHING to get a few extra wins on the board because ultimately his job is riding on it now
I truly dont know why people are acting shocked that we “were in”
