$10 million per year gets him from what I’m reading, which is what Mixon cost the Texans last year for not playing. I’m also reading that the Jets will make it a priority to re-sign him. I’m also reading that he might not want to go back to NY. So who the hell knows. The Texans have cap issues of their own and will need to restructure a couple guys, at least, to make some impactful moves.
There is no reason to go get a subpar rb. Why not fix our line over a rb, you can not have a running game when a qb can’t pass the ball. A running back is far from a priority and for everyone thinking we need one clearly doesn’t watch. Let’s get some oline and we also need interior dline since ours are in their 30s and well as Hunter.
