We’ve acquired forward Nick Bjugstad from the St. Louis Blues for forward Thomas Bordeleau and a conditional 2026 fourth-round draft pick.

  1. This is the equivalent to Fitz unplugging the life support, but accidently unplugging what was plugged into the other outlet instead and just walking away nervously.

  2. Kinda feel bad for nick having to coming into our depressing black hole of a locker room w/ no chance of playoffs in sight. Although, I think STL has their own issues going on i think.

  3. this is such a fitz move lmao

take on salary that doesn’t improve the team when we shouldn’t be buyers

    masterclass as always

  4. Lol if you take off the Fitz hating glasses, this is actually a good trade. We gave up pretty much nothing to fill a position of need for this year and next.

  5. He’ll fit right in with his 7 points in 35 games. More like Nick Pukestad.

    Fire Fitz.

  6. Someone take the phone away from Fitz. I don’t need him making one other move. Doing nothing would be better than whatever he is going to do. Thankfully he just signed a bottom six guy for next year. That’s what we need to be trading any asset for. Holy this guy stinks.

  7. Fitzy hears 6ft 6 and just has to acquire. It doesn’t matter how good they are at hockey. Fire this clown.

  8.  This is a move a playoff team makes to get depth for a deep playoff run, not a move a tanking team should make. Pretty sure Fitz could’ve also signed him this past summer……. This GM sucks at his job.

  9. I wanted to trade for this guy when he was still a member of the Arizona Coyotes. Idk why it makes sense now.

  10. It’s over, our gm traded for a guy who’s been getting healthy scratched on a bad Blues team.

  11. Chris Drury and Tok Fitzgerald are taking turns at seeing which one can be the worth GM in the NHL. Drury trades Panarin to LA for an aged AHL bum and a conditional 3rd pick they likely won’t even get and we trade a prospect for a guy who’s career was probably over two years ago.

How do these people get GM jobs, and somehow manage to keep them?

  12. Fitz with his finger on the pulse sensed we needed another underachieving 4th line Center.SMFH !!

  13. My only thought is that maybe someone else from the devils forward group is on the move and he wanted to at least ice an NHL roster? Also, maybe it’s to protect against Olympic injuries?

  14. He has one more year on his contract at $1.75M, so like this is fine in a vacuum. Unfortunately it doesn’t make sense why Fitz is making this move and making it now

  15. Deja vu from last season, except they aren’t even close to a playoff spot this time and Fitz is making insignificant moves when its long overdue…. how the fuck hes wstill employed is beyond me.

  16. Fitzy what the fuck man?  This is a trade I’d be very happy about 2 months ago or a signing that should have been made over the offseason.  But ya know cap issues… get this fucking clown away from my team!!

  17. Would’ve liked this 2 months ago. Now it’s too late. But at least something better for next year than seeing Glendenning/Lammikko?

  18. This team has no shot at making the playoffs. I don’t understand this trade at all. Just pack it up and wait for the offseason.

  19. Fitz tries not to trade youth & assets for old people who don’t fit our window challenge: Impossible
