When you look at the ball skills he displayed on that Bills play to intercept that ball (yes it was an interception, an incredible game changing play bills fans sorry!), it makes me wonder why he isn’t our #2 opposite Surtain.
Does someone who watched him more closely have an opinion on why he’s usually covering the 3rd or 4th guy instead of covering the #2 like Moss?
Regardless. The broncos should at least put a 2nd round tender on him and figure out extension stuff on the side this year. Depth at corner is so essential and having a ball hawk like this who also is amazing at blitzes (that play On mahomes was my favorite play of the whole year) Is an x factor on defense. You need guys like that. I’d rather pay someone like this and fill in other positions with smart signings and rookies then afford to lose him.
