Why do we keep pretending Mike Elias has changed?

  1. Elias should now make the trade with the Twins for Ryan and P/ Cole Smith ( I think it's Smith) and stop fooling around! If the Twins trade can't be made, I'd trade for Alcantara and Sign Gallon. If the Ryan/Cole trade goes through, I'd than sign Gallon as well for insurance. Eflin and Kremer can go to the BP ( If we still have them).

  2. First of all, I'm so glad they didn't sign Valdez, we don't need a cancer in our club house. Second of all, I'm so tired of these band wagon fans (and some announcers) singing praise on Mike at the beginning of the off season, now he's the worst GM ever, and tomorrow if he makes a great trade, he'll be the best ever. None of us knows what's going on behind closed doors. Did it ever occur to you that maybe some of these players don't want to play in Baltimore for any amount of money? None of us knows what the Orioles offered these pitchers or players. Just like Burnes last off season, the Orioles offered him a great contract, but he wanted to stay home near his family, I guess that's Mike's fault too. None of us are GM's on any team, Mike is, that means he's a lot smarter than we are, give the guy a break.

  3. Why Alonzo decided to play in Baltimore (other than money) is a mystery. Who would want to play in this city?? They have no interest at all in post season baseball.

  4. The just traded a good bullpen arm from a already weak Bullpen, and 2 young pitchers 100mph+ arms for a freaking utility player…😮. They couldn't address a utility player in free agency?..

  5. I've been wanting them to sign Zac Gallen over Valdez. I don't understand the fascination with Valdez other than a lot of people wanting to say his first name. Gallen's career numbers are overall better than Valdez with the exception of last year. Look it up.

  6. JLC just screams everyday how bad everything is with the Orioles. Their ratings cant be good and JLC forgets free agents still hold the cards and the Orioles can only offer so much money before its Ludacris. Keep in mind JLC was let go from the orioles pregame show because of his god awful takes

  7. You guys are clowns. If people want to believe this nonsense, they’re forgetting that Elias made a very legit offer to Burnes. It’s true that there hasn’t been much other good movement for starting pitching, tho Baz has a great deal of upside. No one will know what the Orioles didn’t sign Valdez until Elias reveals it, but at the moment it can’t be identified as a failure on the part of the O’s. The was a lot of pushback on the part of the media about why it would have been a huge mistake to sign him. Oh, and you guys have kicked the fact that for two years under Elias the best record in the MLB down the memory hole! That doesn’t count, huh?

  8. Listening to JLC makes me sick at times. Who said Valdez wanted to come to Baltimore. It takes two to dance. Were you not listening to Pete Alonso? He wanted to come to Baltimore. I’m glad Mike Elias doesn’t listen to this show. Talking like we are all schmucks for cheering for our team and JLC is the smartest man in the room.
