And now that we’ve crossed the Avs off the list our remaining strength of schedule ain’t quite as bad!

Seeing our logo on there so many times
It’s funny that we’re below Buffalo and Tampa seemingly because we don’t have to play the Detroit Red Wings
7 Atlantic in the top 10, 8 in the top 12 lol. All this really shows is that there are a lot of divisional games left, so I wouldn’t feel too daunted by how “tough” it is the rest of the way because our direct competitors have it the same.
These are such bs haha
Fortunately all the teams we’ll be contending with come April are pretty close to us in terms of their strengths of schedule.
No games are given, it will all take everything the boys got.
Going to be an anxious March, but I am here for it. LGRW

We also have the fewest games which is good more rest days
Yeah I don’t pay too much attention to this. Every game is both winnable and losable. As long as they maintain consistency, stay healthy, and win out especially against divisional opponents.
That being said, I think we’ve had the most back to backs in the league so far. Not sure if those factor in, but given we’ll likely have them less often than others might work in our favor.
BUF and TB playing each other 3 times still is great.
Such a good sign to see our logo all over everyone else’s toughest opponents column. Stoked about that!
We also only have one back-to-back from what I hear. That should be an advantage
25 games left, after tonight it’s 24. Hoping we win tonight, could we realistically go 12-8-4? Hoping we also don’t absolutely collapse in the final 2 weeks
At least the bruins and sabres have harder, they’re the ones nipping at our trails
If they win tonight, they’ll only need to win 10 of the remaining 24 games to get to 94 points, which is projected to be enough for a playoff spot.
Feels good to be listed among so many teams’s hardest remaining games though. But we have only, what, 2 back to backs left?
I’m not sure im ready to put Panthers in the ‘easiest’ category yet. I mean, I get it’s based on standings, but I have a feeling FLA isn’t going to just roll over and die for the remaining schedule.
The best thing about this graphic is seeing the Panthers classified as “easiest” 😂
Bring it.
Notice how the one western team in the top ten has 4 eastern teams, and then 2 of the hardest Western teams?
The last strength of schedule we were at 3, and the one before thag we had the toughest (10 back to backs am I right?).
6th is obviously easy street
3 games against Florida? Will be lucky to leave those games without all our best players alive
Extremely skewed because we’re in the Atlantic
The West is such a phony conference. So top heavy unlike the east.
Shows how tough our division is that we have seven teams in the top ten for hardest schedules remaining. And to see Detroit near the top in our division is a good thing.
We were second until we played the avs twice. Moving down 4 spots over 2 games really puts into perspective that SoS really ain’t that bad. And yeah like others have said the majority of this is because the Atlantic is hyper competitive. Luke not a single team in the Pacific would be in a playoff spot in the Atlantic. And they have 4 teams in a playoff spot.
We’ve been doing well all season, I trust in the boys.
You don’t want to go into the playoffs after just playing a bunch of pansies!!
What a time to be alive when fucking Buffalo and the back-to-back cup champ panthers freaky Friday’d themselves.
Atlantic division be like:
Something just gives me a chuckle seeing the Rangers, Canucks, and Hawks show up so frequently in the easiest column.
The only SoS worth looking at is the battle against themselves. The mirror has proved to be a way stronger opponent than any team in the league.
The way they played the Avs in the 2nd game should be par for any game, but they constantly are unable to play in-sync and efficiently from the get-go. That Avs game might just have been another 0-5 game if it wasn’t for the early goal.
Mammoth scored early and Larkin lost his head (again) – probable cause or not, can’t go down 5 on 3. Those incidents need to be held in-check and be used to rile up the team effort, not put the team down 0-2. But this Wings team doesn’t seem to react like that. They do less total collapses, but still – it’s a fight against themselves to stay in the game.
Who they are playing doesn’t seem to factor in too much in this. So it all comes down to looking in the mirror and choosing to play f’ing hockey, instead of puck watching and complaining.
Thank god because a month and a half ago we had the toughest schedule
I love how we played Colorado twice and then went from 1st to 6th
Well.. it was the hardest schedule remaining at one time… so I guess there is positive to that.
This is a cool way to look at it. Thanks for posting.
