  15. Yamamoto’s ERA from 2021–2023: 1.39, 1.68, and 1.21.
    His WHIP stayed around 0.90, with elite command and strikeout numbers every season.
    This wasn’t a one-year peak — it was sustained, historic dominance.

  17. USA, Japan, and DR are absolute juggernaut teams. This tournament is basically between those 3, if anyone else wins I'll be shocked. Italy, Brazil, Czech Republic, Australia, GB, and the Netherlands have no chance whatsoever. Venezuela and Korea are probably the strongest after the big 3. Chinese Taipei, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico are all strong, but probably don't have a great chance realistically.
