  1. I'm back and forth on it. If he can stay healthy for a long period of time he could be a huge asset for us. If they put him between Kirill Kaprizov and Zuccarello I think you'll see a drastic difference in goals scored. And on the other hand who do you have to give up to get him. But if he comes it's all but guaranteed to have Quinn signs for a long time. Which will make this hockey team very good for a long time. You just have to have a reliable backup for Walstad if he's traded. So I'm leaning towards more Yes sign him.

  2. That quote from Mr. White1079 is out of context, it is about not having anything positive to say about the devils 2:11 it’s still not a great look, I’d love to have him come to the Wild but it will be due to the devils failing to build a winning team not the fans turning against Jack

  3. Problem is Jack is not going to leave Luke behind so realistically he’ll just tell Quinn by the time you become a free agent they will have a new GM and Coach and probably start winning again!! It’s easier for Quinn to just leave Minny if they really want to play together.

  4. One more thing I like to mention is that my good friend played hockey with Jim Hughes(father) and still talks to him here and there. If there is a chance that Jack and Luke get traded they will try to force themselves to Detroit and Quinn will follow. That is where they ALL really want to play together.

  5. What do we give up for him is the question. I would love to have him on the wild that being said he’s played one full season and it was Covid year. I think if we can get him though you got to at least entertain it

  6. Tbh these Hughes brothers are kinda spoiled brats. They can play some d*mn hockey but Jesus Christ, can you not be grateful that you made it, that you’re in the NHL? You gotta whine you’re not playing with your brothers? Idk just my take..

  7. If Bill Gueren can pull this off, it will be like when they went all in on a forward and a defenseman was it 15 years ago? But, batring injuries, I think the results will be better now than they were back then. Luke will walk when his contract is up, and by then Quinn will be a 3d, and Luke will be a 1d. And with Kaprisov there, they would have a real shot at a cup!

  8. Hard to say. Part of me thinks he wouldn’t be an amazing fit for the Wild. Great player on his own, but the Wild are a more depth and team focused group. Having him in Minnesota would almost guarantee an extension with Quinn, but what do we have to give up for Jack?
