  1. Dolphins fan here and there’s a disagreement in Phins Fan Land about signing Malik Willis ($$$) vs Trading for a QB or starting Quinn Ewers and get our guy in 2027! What say you?

  2. Hey Nick, you mention they may look at bigger guys with athleticism for QB… one guy they should kick the tires on, is Will Levis.. our new OL coach was OL coach at Kentucky when Levis was playing. Cam Ward is locked in at with the Titans, so Levis is expendable. He has all the measurables, just needs coaching… maybe could turn into a Darnold type success story, and would probably be cheap.

  3. Keeping Tua is not a good option. You risk him getting injuried, then being stuck with payiing the extra $20 million in injury guarantees in 2027. Another issue is having Tua on the roster, would be a huge distraction that I'm sure Hafley and Sully are not going to want to deal with.

Tua will be a post June 1st cut. The risk of having to pay the $20 millon more in injury guarantees plus the distraction he would cause all season is not worth an extra 11 million in cap space in 2026.

  4. I think its really hard to have a guy making 50 plus milliion a year in the QB room doing nothing while the other QB's arent even making a quarter of that. It could turn toxic.

  5. I think you are twisting things because you believe Tua should be gone. You could be wrong, and when I read or hear Slowick's comments, I see a possibility that he should be on the roster next season, especially when you take his contract into consideration.

The two options are to open up the starting QB position to competition. Or trade him. I have them drafting Carson Beck with one of their 3rd round picks. His size is 6′ 4″ and 225 lbs, which is where I want Miami to use him as a prototypical QB. I also think they will focus more on the 2027 draft to really attack the QB position because that is when they can rid themselves of Tua with a lesser cap hit!

  6. Well if he came out and said Tua invented the wheel and is the guy we want, he would have lost the whole fan base!! What else was he going to say?!?
It's not a kiss of death, it's just basic fact and acknowledgement of the player. I'm not sure why you are making it out to be something big and new when we all already know this…

  7. Absolutely right! When evaluating performance for any job that requires skill or talent and you mention their personality first, it’s curtains. I was concerned about his longevity after all the hits he took and the multiple concussions. He says he’s ready for change. Be careful what you wish for.
