  1. I live in Singapore (35 years) rarely get to see Jays games, but its always great to hear Buck, its home, its Toronto.

  2. Not a Jays fan but was introduced to Bucks voice and charisma through some baseball video game and had been a fan of his since. Definitely one of the greats

  3. That’s too bad. I thought he might run it back and see. This will be a big identity shift, impossible to replace. Go Jays, Buck is a hero. I’ll miss that old timey baseball vibe.

  4. Best voice in baseball! And also the greatest double play in the history of baseball.  You will be missed Buck!

    Enjoy your time off legend!

  5. This sounds forced? Retirement after THAT 2025 run, and year 50? Buck IS Canadian baseball. If Rogers’ isn’t fucking up one thing, it’s another.

  6. Jays baseball just isn’t going to be the same without Buck. He has been the voice of the jays most of my life.

  7. Took me a bit to get used to him, but he quickly became one of my favorites once I did. Good luck in retirement!

  8. I love the Mets team with Hernandez, Darling, and Cohen, but I watched Toronto almost more than the Mets last year because of this guy – awesome, knowledgeable dude. As a Braves fan I just can’t handle Ben Ingram – guy is such a snoozer…

  9. No 🙁 I love tuning into jays games when my team isn’t playing just to hear his voice.
