Sochans a good kid man, we’ve gotta give him some more opportunity. He’s been so professional
Glad he’s staying for now.

He’s been hitting his 3 pt shots now with a much better form. It’s really confusing how he’s not getting any minutes at all especially when his defense and hustle are needed.
You think he knows about this sub? If so, I hope he sees the kind words. He has a great attitude and really seems to be a team player even when the decisions are not in his favor. Hopefully it all works out, I’d like to see him stick around. Also, we need an enforcer, hint, hint.
I think Sochan’s biggest problem right now is Sochan’s head.. I think he’s struggling mentally and I really hope he can crack past that. Dude has great possibilities.. would love to see him get in the groove and play the great basketball I think he’s capable of.
He stay
Shoutout to whoever said Don Harris tends to doom a bit
Play him with Fox 👏🏼 Devin 👏🏼 Julian 👏🏼 and Wemby 👏🏼
I hope he stays. Hopefully we can find a way to implement him in games. He’s still a fucking beast.
This makes me sad and hopeful at the same time. Dudes done every single thing asked of him by pop and the spurs even though it in no way directly benefitted his development. Part of me wanted him to agree to the buyout just so i could see him doing better mentally. Sochans a good dude
Sochan if you’re seeing this, hit me up and we will fix your shot!

You never know. We may end up needing him down the line. It’s a long season and injuries happen.
Hope he has a big moment in the playoffs for us.
I mean buyout and lose money when he can get waived and get more money on top of what he’s own seems like a no brainer
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Now that the trade deadline is over, he might see himself in games more often. There are lineups and matchups where he fits better than others.
Of course Sochan will also have to play confident, which is another thing that has been hurting him.
I think this is a good thing for both parties.
If anything. He’s going to turn into a demon this off season
Let’s go!!!
I’m hoping here during the rodeo and then come playoff time, there will be multiple instances of us all thinking “thank the Lord we still got Sochan”.
Playoff Sochan is something that I’m definitely looking forward to seeing.
Anyone remember Speedy Clayton coming in for TP when the playoffs meant next man up?
This is a smart move for Sochan and honestly the Spurs. He may just be needed in the playoffs to swing the momentum in a game or due to matchups, injury. Then in the off chance we win a chip this year would be a shame to miss out on a ring with the team that drafted him.
Need mitch to play him, at least in garbage time (which sadly doesn’t exist because this team doesn’t like keeping a lead)
No need to slander Sochan here. He had given a lot to this team since being drafted. Especially when he was playing point guard. He was playing really hard at one time and you can see the confidence on his face. Maybe the wrist injury was more bad than it was, and now it has affected his play mentally. Maybe it’s an issue with him and Mitch. I just can’t understand how once he was the number three option on the team, running the offense and now he’s not even playing. It’s something deeper internally within the coaching staff. I don’t know if he crossed Mitch disrespectfully or what it is. He can be scrappy and mouthy at times. Maybe this is to humble him. He do seems more nicer. He was starting to get into a lot of fights. I love it myself. It helps the other softer players toughen up.
You can’t win with crème puffs. I from an era where defense mattered. That’s why Rodman will forever be my best defensive player of all time in the NBA. I can care less of his shooting ability. Rodman was going to contribute no less than 15 to 20 rebounds a game. And he was going to take the pressure off the better players to preserve their energy by guarding the opposing teams better players. He didn’t mind guarding Shaq, Olajuwon, Karl Malone, and so on. And he weighed 100 pounds less than these players. Sochan’s heart and willingness to devote his body defensively and play out of position is what this team needs. It’s just something going on with him personally. I hope that it gets dealt with. But I feel it’s a coldness with him and Mitch for whatever reason. I can imagine that it can be tough on any player going from starting, to being the sixth man, to not even getting a nod or look from the coach.

My FB cover photo since July 2023 survives for several months!! Yay!
Brutal, pretty much means no team offered him a guaranteed contract when his agent was fishing last week
Send him to the g league so the guy can get some playing time.
The problem is Sochan comes in with Kornet usually in the rotation and severely limits our offense. We can’t have 2 pass or hand-off players on the court at the same time. Teams know Kornet or Sochan aren’t shooting so they can just sag off and clog the paint. That makes it much harder for Harper to drive and score. His great defense comes at the cost of choking out our offense.
I’m glad. I hope we play him, he deserves it.
I wonder how much that calf injury really bugged him to start the season. Hopefully it’s behind him now and he gets some more explosiveness back
Our own Santi Aldama
From I can tell(which obviously isn’t much), he’s still been the same friend and good teammate in the locker room that he was with a lot of the guys as he was when he was playing. If that’s the case, I hope he stays the rest of the season with the Spurs.
There are still plenty of games left. If he gets an opportunity to play due to whatever circumstance, I hope he makes the most of it.
Good insurance. Get ready for the playoffs.
Rooting for our Polish bad boy, LFG
we obviously like sochan but it is so strange that people on here think the spurs team needs to fit around sochan, he’s a role player… so he needs to fit the team
Good, get healthy buddy, then prove every doubter they’re wrong.
I never believed they were gunna buy out a rookie contract who has very clearly not been malcontent.
Buying out Jeremy doesnt help him at all. He’s much better off hoping he gets another shot this season and resetting in the offseason.
And that allows the Spurs to see if they can recoup any value in a sign and trade.
Buying out made no sense for either side.
