Should’ve gotten more for him or kept him for the rebuild, he’s so young and only getting better. The only silver lining is now he can compete with a real championship contender, I think he’ll be amazing for the Wolves

I don’t get why fans are demanding a rebuild while also demanding we keep the players who were part of the reason we need a rebuild. Did you guys think a fire sale just meant you trade players no one likes? Trading Ayo for picks and expiring means that you get the money off the books like you would get anyway while also getting picks. What would keeping him achieve?
I didn’t think I would be so sad after Ayo left.
And especially for peanuts 🙁

For us city folks, dude was one of us. A good solider and a solid player. Shame we couldn’t build around our own homegrown talent, but all the luck to him in the future.
Trading players at peak value is what winning organizations do. It’s sad bc we love Ayo, but this was a great move
It’s so funny because they did sell high on Ayo, something the front office rarely does. Look at what guys have been traded for this year. AD went for scraps so did Trae Young. They have issues but their talent is on another level compared to Ayo.
No bench players are bringing back a first round pick.
And Ayo is 1000% a bench combo guard. He isn’t a starting 1 or 2 on a contender.
They also just traded for Ivy, who is basically Ayo’s replacement and someone who better fits Giddey an Matas timeline.
I get he’s a fan favorite and AK sucks, but moving Ayo was the right move.
Ah yes gonna miss Ayo the play making ability the passing the scoring. This guy was something special…..oh wait I must be confused he’s garbage.
I hate that he’s gone, Ayo has been one of my favorite players on the Bulls since D Rose, but I’m happy he’s on the Wolves. Ant has been one of my favorite players to watch so now I have more of a reason to watch Wolves games.
