Why would they not? This is less about Collinsworth and more about the fact that he’s been in 4 of the past 7 (including this) and his absensce is obviously noted.

I hate Mahomes as much as the next guy, but Mahomes was in the last Super Bowl…. Is it really weird to talk about literally the 2nd most recent Super Bowl during some downtime in the 1st most recent Super Bowl?
