They need get rid that Sirinni clown n bring Doug back he the best coach in eagles history past Reid hands down
I remember going crazy and Getting so Hyped and saying we can’t beat the Pats👊🏿👊🏿🦅🦅🦅🏈🏈🏈🏈🏈
Looking forward to this
Common Patriots L with another coming on Sunday.
These are the moments that we eagles fans can still feel excited about and it feels like it was yesterday not like them cowboys fans that aways talk about there stupid 5 sbs that no one cares about we all got to see this game and this play in HD this will aways be a all time favorite eagles play
I still cry at the wasted potential and amazing leadership of Nick Foles. They should have traded Wentz and went forward with BDN, who earned a spot and never got the chance to have it discussed. Foles was a leader, he played on time, ran RPOs better than Wentz despite being a statue in the pocket – Wentz would never win a playoff game, he self reported a concussion in his only chance and caught no flak. Foles would come in for injured Wentz the next year, rattle off a win streak to get a WC berth, won thanks to the double doing and got us one Alshon Jeffrey drop from the NFC Championship. Then he was a Jaguar, where he broke his collarbone on one of the most beautiful TD throws you'll ever see in week one. Such a shame.
Will ALWAYS BE IN PHILLY LORE FOREVER!!!! GO BIRDS 🦅 🙏🏽👍🏽🤙🏽
Files. Who would’ve quessed?
Not only did this solidified Foles and Pederson as Eagles legends…this made them football legends! I just remember when this play happened, I was screaming in my house saying "oh we came to play!"
Wish doug was still our coach, cant stand sirianni
The cadence Foles had and how amazing he sold everything was the true reason the Philly Special worked!
It amazes me how quickly teams and the personel changes from season to season. To see so many of these players not even in the league anymore blows my mind.
I'm just glad I was there to witness greatness. What a great day that was. The best.
Bringing me to tears. We all we got. We all we need. Fly Eagles Fly
Top five played in Super Bowl history
Man idc I want dougie p back so bad he was never the problem n I think if he stayed the team we had we would of still went to the 2 super bowls after him
Foles needs to be on this coaching staff man.
Iconic 🦅🦅🦅🦅
still brings tear to my eyes. amazing play call, amazing execution!
Been going to Eagles games with my mom (season ticket holder) since I was old enough to walk. This game was the most special moment we shared together. A memory forever. Go Birds!
The best play call in Eagles history!
What's greater, but overlooked, is the touchdown drive to take back the lead. The 4th down play to Ertz, near mid field, I'll bet, had Eagles fans holding their breath more than Philly Special.
It happening before the half was rough because they kept showing the replay and I thought, man if we lose this game I never wanna ever see that play again.
The greatest play call in SB HISTORY
Peterson's nonchalant, "Yeah ok" is almost as good as the play itself. SB, 4th down, Patriots, Brady, Belichick, "let's do it"
That was a fun little video. Thanks a lot for posting!
I hope Foles has that ball.
I love Eagols back then!!
who's cuttin' onions??
Go birds!!!!🦅
i always assumed "philly philly" was another version of the play, good to hear the real story behind that
🔥
I thought it was funny that they did it, after the Patriots tried to do it earlier in the game and failed because Tom couldn't catch the ball. That's why I thought they did it, when they did. To show the Pats THAT's how you do it.
At least this Nick can call plays.. lol
LeGarrette with that big smile and Southern accent saying "Philleh Speacial" is just the best
LANE! LANE!!!!
Legendary Doug P offense. Wow what a year that was
5:24 "Philly Special? In this moment? In the Super Bowl? Localized entirely within this stadium?"
I remember that I had no faith in the team when Carson got injured but Nick went on a legendary run.
As a lifelong Birds fan it was even more special that a local guy, Clement, was involved in this historic play as I saw him play during his high school career at Glassboro HS. A month or so after the SB he was standing in front of me when he and a friend were at the cashier window at the Golden Nugget Casino in AC. I knew it was him but I didn't want to bother him.
Fun fact: This game still holds the record for most yards ever in a game (1,151) regular season or postseason.
It was a wild game.
Nick’s Career is immortalized in this moment. Not a hall of famer for his career, but this moment is an all timer.
This too short….every player on the team shd have bn made to shear their idea. Guess what I have literally watched over a billion times
