I’ve been saying to get rid of Jarry for years everyone called me stupid. Now that he’s gone we are winning consistently. The oilers on the other hand are going downhill fast
Manta is going to view this as a real opportunity, and he genuinely seems excited because it’s a strong fit for him. I get the sense that matters to him, which could lead to a short-term, affordable deal. It makes sense — you move out Rakell and still keep the flexibility to fill that second spot and evaluate others.
I really wish they’d play ANYONE other than the islanders in the first round. I don’t care if they are the home team or not, we will lose to them, they are just our playoff kryptonite. I’d rather play anyone else
If someone offers a first for Mantha, you jump on it and don't look back. I don't even care if it's the Flyers. That's a major win for Dubas. If they offer a prospect with the pick, you're now the GM of the year.
I know Toronto fans have got be absolutely dumbfounded by what Dubas has done for this entire franchise. Especially having to deal with and cleaning up what Wrong Hextall did to us. We were desolate of talent at all levels in this organization. Now, WOW. It feels like we have an abundance of young talent and a shit load of picks on top of that.
Ok Nick, mash together these random roster years. 10, 18, 26. I was gonna throw in 93, but that didn’t feel right. Or include them, up to you obviously.
I don’t understand why everyone is surprised by the return for Panarin. He has a no move clause. He chose where he wanted to go and the Rangers got what they could. That really limits the return.
I just watched the Pickering interview on sportsnet Pittsburgh. Doubt he’ll wear a letter
Heres my mashup roster of the last 3 years:
Guentzel-Crosby-Rust
Chinakhov-Malkin-Rakell
Mantha-Kindel-Novak
Bunting-Lizotte-Brazeau
O’Connor, Dewar
Wotherspoon-Karlsson
Pettersson-Letang
Grzelcyk-Shea
Kulak
Jarry
Skinner
Silovs
I was at the isles game and man chino is very impressive live. He is very responsible and aware on the ice. Him and kindel play really good 200 ft. games. Chino will cover when a dman pinches and you have to double take that its not a dman skating backwards like that. Very impressed. How about that Avery hayes kid. I'd love a line of lizzo- broz- hayes (Avery not kevin hahha)
Mantha is this years rental for the penguins. If we cant afford to pay him, no worries. They have plenty of young players and picks. I'd rather have him then try to replace him.
Very well said! I do agree maybe I worded poorly, but I can tell after a 1st period based on our transition game whether we have it or not each game
Man, you need to learn a little bit more before you speak. The reason the Blackhawks weren’t on television isn’t because how bad they were. It was because their owner was greedy and refused to televise the games because he wanted more people to come to the arena
