Good take Moose, this is why I fcks with you. And I agree with everything you said here. I understand the people who love Mooney. But what I've noticed from Mooney is that he feels he is a WR1. And when he doesn't get the press as such he shows his disdain on the field by running lazy routes and giving half assed effort because he knows that he is not the first read. He brung that with him from Chicago. Something I always was concerned with about him and it showed. He was WR1 in Chicago, until Moore was bought in. When ATL started creating plays where Mooney is the first read (to appease him), he did those plays so nonchalantly as to say "look how easy it is for me, but I'm not getting the respect I feel I deserve from the organization" , and then he gets injured again. His value in the market is still decent. I would move on from him and use that money for a young WR with a potential high ROI. With an extra 7m you can definitely find a guy that will be more productive for the money with this regime in place. They know how to evaluate players..very well. All these players you've mentioned I agree. Good analysis work in regards to budget.
