I’m shocked it’s taken this long for the organization to capitalize on promotional giveaways being the primary appeal of attending a game in recent times. Sad thing is, I’m sure they’ll get plenty of people paying for this.

Welp, I can see this only backfiring and being the only way to secure any of the cool promotional items.
Teams that do this cap the number of these they sell. The cap is usually enough to cover the manufacturing cost of a particular giveaway item and any potential overrun costs.
So you are basically paying 20 bones for the free thing? Will this make easier to get the giveaways at the gates?
Jerry will always find a way to line his pockets with more dough…
Worth it for the City Connect throwback jacket
They used to let you into bullpen sports bar 1 hr before gates opened. Not sure how many people were aware or took advantage. There wasn’t a fee but I assume they didn’t sell enough inside the bar during that time to make it worth while to continue.
25 bucks is probably too steep considering most items are available on eBay for around that cost. At least for last year’s bobbles, everyone but Allen and WS pitchers were that cheap.
Maybe it’s worth 25 bucks to drink the parking lot til the start of the game?
For a lot of giveaways you were guaranteed to get one simply because of the attendance, so as long as you didn’t show up in the 3rd inning you were good . Idk how I feel about this. I kind of like the chisox bar and grill because you can sit there and have a bar experience next to the stadium and walk in. However, the food is prepared fast food style (pre-prepped and put under a heater) and while that helps your plate come out quick , the quality varies and prices are stupid. I would consider it for better benefits for eating/ the bar . Yes you are better off going to Cork or the few options near, but it’s the convenience of that bar ( and some of the decor) that is the appeal. This doesn’t make it more convenient at all . We’ll see how it works I guess
