Robert Thomas is going nowhere. If anything his trade value would be at the highest at the draft
3rd overall dach, 2nd overall laine, 16th overall alex newhook for thomas.
Right cause St Louis doesn't need to trade this guy. They are trying to dump Schenn, Faulk, maybe Kyou, Binnington, Buchnevich,
Not happening.
Trade price us perfect for a young, 1st line center, point-per-game, good defense franchise changing player that is locked up on not a good contract but a FANTASTIC contract. You dont like it, move on.
dach kapanen reinbacher, see ya
Owen Beck Engstrom and a first for Robert Thomas
They are asking way too much from the Red Wings and Canadians. Go ask Ken Holland with the Kings. That guy has no use for young players.
That's what they're asking first.. there's only a couple of teams in the league that can afford that. So it's funny to say that St Louis has the upper hand when in all actuality if there's only a couple of teams that can afford it if they don't want to pay you're going to have to go lower. So who actually has the power in this negotiation😂😂😂
Kapanen might never score as much as Thomas but he can play defense. Good luck to the Blues, mtl did enough business by getting them to take "red light" Mailloux.
Blues would need to eat up some of that AAV or drop their ask.
Raty, lekkerimaki and our second 1st round pick
how about Trochek from NY
He can stay in St. Louis
No way! He is not big enough same size as Suzuki! We need a big winger which would be cheaper. If they are sitting wingers habs should take a look . The chatter on Thomas in Montreal is premature because they figure to go deep in the playoffs! Still in rebuild and the need to be patient as worked out so far. Rinebacker over Mitchkov was a big controversy before but management made the right cal then and will make it now as well. Hughes is the new Sam Pollock.
This isn't high at all. He's a 26 year old PPG C who is responsible defensively who is paid only 8.1 through '31. Bear, Danielson, and 1st. Hell through in another mid-level talent like Wallinder or mid-round pick to sweeten the deal. Easy payment. L1: Kasper-Larkin-Raymond, Cat-Thomas-Kane (One of MBN, Plante, Genborg, Buchelnikov, Kiiskenen can step in to replace Kane whenever he walks away). I'm making this trade in a heartbeat. The Wings would have a 1-2 center punch comparable to any other in the league for the next 6 years.
I would give up three 1sts and maybe Kasper. But that is as high as Id go.
Hes only 26, hes already signed. Thats a good deal to basically shore up Center for the next 5 years.
Hugh way to smart for that !!! Maybe price will change it really looks like they dont want to trade him.
hes not going anywhere, btw, there is a difference between a proven top center in the league vs 1st round picks that might not turn into much or could even possibly be a bust
detroit has the prospects carter bear, nate danelson and a first. also have MBN in gran rapids plus Plante playing in the NCAA . also got the two goalies in the system also. stevie Y has the prospects and the cap room. question is will he do anything
Reinbacher, Laine, Dach, a 1st, and 2 second round picks.
Nope…they can keep him at that price!
Kapanen + Reinbacher + 2026 1st + 2027 1st
Yzerman ain’t gonna pay up on this one. Might have to be a short-term rental like O’Reilly or Trochek.
