Packers president Ed Policy on Matt LaFleur extension: Analyze body of work over “emotional chaos”

Does the body of work include clock management?
MLF’s body of work shows an inability to win big games and hold onto leads. Emotional chaos is only looking at the positives in times of crisis
I’m so thankful to not have a billionaire emotional owner pulling strings behind the scenes. Emotional decisions is how you fire Andy Reid (Eagles) or trade Micah Parsons.
Does the body of Work include a commitment to having a special team’s unit that doesn’t look like the Keystone cops?
7 seed is our gold standard I guess
His body of work is shit the last few years. He’s 29-22 the last 3 years. Counting every dumbass way to collapse in the playoffs.
Yes. His body of work consisting mainly of stumbling into the playoffs only to have correctable mistakes that he didn’t correct all season finally bite us in the ass.
7th seed and out! 😀
Besides Rodgers carrying him, his biggest moment is winning one playoff game. We haven’t won the North since the MVP Rodgers years. We have a team that’s good enough to at least make it to the second round and we don’t. What exactly is so great about his body of work?
Body of work meaning regular season success that leads nowhere.
The body of work is trending down. Unemotionally while the overall body of work is good and replacement of MLF is far from a sure upgrade, the same failures keep recurring and his record hasn’t gotten better with his and BK’s hand picked successor. It’s the safe option.
Well policy this is just you saying you’re a moron.
His body of work minus Rodgers is mediocre at best.
The Packers front office is content with mediocrity.
His body of work is fail in the playoffs. Not sure why we persist
If this sub ran the team we would have a new coaching staff, new core players, and new front office every year and look like a bipolar chaotic organization to anyone watching (worse than the Jets).
And thats the difference between an org like the Packers and the Lions, Browns, Cardinals, etc
Lots of Madden players here in the comments.
How unexpected……Not.
^^
Aka don’t rock the boat, we’re still making bank on the rubes
The Blown leads will continue until morale improves!!!!
How about the body of work in the playoffs, Ed.
It’s smart business to keep him, he’s proven to be a successful coach. But at what point do his playoff failures start to add up, probably within the next season or two, I’d guess.
So 7 years is considered “emotional chaos”? Continued mistakes and amateur game management is one thing that is a consistent body of work
I read somewhere that John Madden is the only coach to make their 1st Super Bowl in their 8th season or later with the same team. So let’s hope Matt can be #2.
