Oh perfect, another key player that the Bucs are interested in. Let’s see, Red Sox trade a couple mid-level prospects for him, we read that the Bucs’ offer was “right there,” and we move on to the next player that we are interested in.
This would be a really good move if they can find a way to part with our pitching depth deep in the system. At this point Keller is kinda a big deal to have mid rotation if we are going to be serious contenders. In terms of pitching that is major league ready the Astros would want I think Ashcraft or Barco would be fair but I would like us to have a lefty starter to use.
His power won’t play as well at PNC. Would take him, but wouldn’t overpay.
