“It’s not going to be Micah Parsons [compensation] because [Parsons] was younger. But, you know, a late [first round pick] would be real. If that’s what it was, they’re not going to replace Maxx Crosby, even if they hit on a great pass rusher, they’re still not going to replace him.
What you do is, you replace him with a player and then use the money to go get other good players and really build up the foundation of the team. For sure you could make an argument that trading him makes sense.”

  10. No, I would rather sign Lloyd if FA and then draft an Edge that fits a 3-4 Scheme. If we were to trade for Crosby, that would be considered an all in move and leave a whole at LB.

  13. Do the Carolina Panthers have a first round pick???? If so they are going to go with someone young and will be a proactive edge rusher, that is what I see. I don't see the Panthers going after Maxx because they want too much for him, and a first round pick. What got me to say no is that you have Maxx Crosby banged up for the past 2 years and a lot of wear and tear on his body – sound like he is injury prawn yeah I think its a pass for the Panthers.

  16. I don't think your gonna see any major trades this year in Carolina, we aren't there yet. I expect 1 or 2 decent signings or maybe one big time deal done of the right player is there, and then continue building through the draft and finding gems that people miss in udfa or off practice squads

  23. Doesn't make sense. I'd love to have Crosby. But we have needs at to many other positions that need to be addressed with draft picks. Draft picks we won't have if we trade for a player the caliber of Max. I could see us signing at least one big name in free agency however. But I'm guessing it'll be someone along the lines of Devin Lloyd or Nakobe Dean. Then add to the pass rush in the first or second round.
