Those statements by Ryan make it pretty clear that Cunningham is the real GM and Bears will get the picks. It was just one story by Courtney Cronin that started all the rumors to the contrary.

With he exception of Ben Johnson and his staff this shows you how screwed up Ryan Poles is on football, spends more, and takes 4-5 years for a rebuild where other teams do it in one or two years. Give me a break.
Bears 2025 season beat expectations. DJ had great moments, Caleb had great moments, the hole team had great moments. The Bears had a new coaching staff, new offence and defensive schemes, changed the culture and made us proud! Stop looking back at the last play of the year, it's next year now and I trust this organization to make the wright moves and maybe next year we will be watching our Chicago Bears in the Super Bowl!! Kenaan Allen needs a drug test if he thing this team was ready to compete 2 years ago.. like fr.. the oline was horrible to start and we still have the same dline problems.. you can compete with one of those problems, you cant with both… Swifty send him the pee test.. and check for special brownie consumption!!
I think DJ is gonna restructure 💯 and both sides already know.. makes too much sense for all involved. The coaches know his value and he's probably tired of moving and knows he's in a spot where he can finally win before he retires eventually.
Nobody is going to trade for DJ and that contract. He'll be a Bear and that is a good thing!
