Congrats, Nikola!!
I think Jokic has a good chance of passing the all-time record this next season with the way he’s been playing. The last 4 seasons he averaged about 27 triple doubles a season and he’s at 18 so far. 29 games left in the season, assuming he gets at least 5 more that’ll put him at 187, and he would only need 21 more (assuming Westbrook doesn’t get any other triple doubles) to pass the regular season record of 207.
I went to the game against the bucks where Jokic got his first triple double and look where he’s is now.
I’m eager for Jokic to pass Westbrook, although I don’t think Jokic cares, either way
I’m not sure about now, but in past seasons, Westbrook seemed to be acutely aware of his stats, while trying to rack up triple doubles, while Jokic earns them without giving a second thought to them
Guy who is first never won championship.
Would like to see stat with number of double-doubles with one unit missing from triple-double.
