Matthew Stafford: The MVP Gunslinger

The man who silenced every critic with a historic 17th season. ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿคฏ

On February 5, 2026, Matthew Stafford officially reached the mountaintop. At 37 years old, the Los Angeles Rams quarterback was named the 2025 AP NFL Most Valuable Player, edging out Drake Maye in the closest vote in over two decades. Stafford didn’t just win; he dominated, leading the league in passing yards (4,707) and touchdowns (46) while proving that his “no-look” arm talent is still the gold standard of the NFL.

His 2025 campaign was a “stat-god” clinic. He set an NFL record with 28 consecutive touchdown passes without an interception and cemented his place in the Top 10 of all-time passing yards and touchdowns. More importantly, during his MVP acceptance speech with his four daughters on stage, Stafford put retirement rumors to rest, telling the world: “I’ll see you guys next year.” With Super Bowl LXI being held at his home stadium (SoFi), the “Stafford Windows” are officially wide open for one last ride.

Is Matthew Stafford a first-ballot Hall of Famer after his 2025 MVP win? ๐Ÿ‘‡
