5. I would like to say despite lying Kevin Warren, he did what he had to do. I mean everybody and their momma knew he was selling wolf tickets when he said the Bears were staying in the city. He did that to manipulate the city government of Arlington Heights. He has tried to use Indiana as leverage as well against Governor of Illinois. The difference is that Indiana isn't going to let themselves be used and they're going to call out these wolf tickets he been selling. They offered him a pretty good deal but the McCaskey don't want to move but the family doesn't really have any money outside of owning the team. Other owners in the NFL, don't have these money issues. They want to build this Bears village but they can't afford it. They won't admit that they can't afford it and they're trying to get public money to pay for it while they own it. If they fire Kevin Warren, I'd love to see how the team will be managed. Building the stadium isn't their only issue…

The McCaskeys mishandled everything about the Stadium like a bunch of clueless country bumpkins… They didn't get serious about this 10-15 year process until the last three or four years… All of the relationships with politicians needed to be addressed over a decade ago… Warren has done an amazing job addressing how archaic the Bears Organization has been… Bears simply didn't put enough time into this… Fans like Soldier Field… Nobody wants the rest of this mess so they can be out of sight/mind if they move elsewhere….

19. Indiana is close to handing over a new stadium to the Chicago Bears! Building in Arlington height, Chicago would be a disaster, outrageous $100 million property taxes in Cook County Illinois is a disaster.
    Kevin Warren snatching a Indiana paid for stadium, only 22 miles away from Soldier Field would be a huge positive.
    Illinois is broke, business unfriendly and will beep raising property taxes (stealing). It's why businesses and people are fleeing Illinois.

    It makes zero sense from a business standpoint to build any megaproject in the state of Illinois if they're paying $100M-$200M in property taxes per year. Springfield doesn't care about the Bears or any other large business entity in the state, so using Indiana as leverage to get a better deal is the ONLY play the Bears have.

    If the McCaskeys are so "furious", tell them to pony up the property taxes and get shovels in the dirt right now, or shut up.

I know you don't live here, but the politicians here are so shady so It's not ALL Warren's fault.. hard to blame him for not foreseeing those issues.. he got a stadium deal done in Minnesota and encountered very little adversity.. Meanwhile, Pritzker has made it damn near impossible to get a fair deal done here…. things seem to be actually moving in insurance
