Idk how that wouldve happened Dodgers only started to get good towards the back half of Jeters career i guess the closest years wouldve been 08, 09 or 13. 08 the yanks were just horrible, all of the 01-07 starts had aged out and needed to be replaced. 09 the yanks won but dodgers got the gentlemans sweep by the phillies in the championship series and 13 Jeter missed most of the year bc of his broken ankle and the rest of the core four was on its way out as andy, mo and Jeter were set to retire and posada was already gone by 2012, except Jeter wanted 1 more year uninjured. Maybe if they all someone stayed healthy and played fairly decent they couldve scraped out a playoff run but WS wasnt gonna happen. Outside of Cano, soriano, drob and Kuroda that team wasnt exciting. Especially with Posada gone, Tex injured, Jeter injured, Arod suspended, granderson injured and awful, and dinosaur Ichiro
