Ouch

  1. Happy to see him have immediate success. Always will love TJD as a player and hope he crushes it in Toronto

  2. Great game for TJD but the Pacers probably have the worst centers in the league at the moment.

  3. happy to see him hooping. also dont forget he got worst layup%, worst ft%, and worst plus minus on this team last season. so parting ways is the best solution

  4. Problem with him here is the Center is the only line of defense when every other player is mismatched. 3 and 4 guard line ups get broken down and then it’s QP or TJD guarding 2- 3 people at the same time. Even Horford looks bad when it’s him on 2-3 people attacking the rim.

He looked fine out there when everyone else could also guard their man.

  5. Trayce had 2 rebounds and 5 points until the game became a blowout in the 4th quarter with 8 minutes left.

Then he cleaned up once they were up by 20 with several minutes to go, which he has done for us before.

But my guess is that most people didn’t watch this game, and are just commenting on the boxscore

  6. Minor thing to consider: Raps coach Darko Rajakovic and TJD were both disciples of Deki (TJD was his last). Maybe there’s a bond / system fit there.

  7. Pat and Gui were fully developed when they got here. Kerr and player development team had nothing to do with it

  8. Ouch what? The rebounds are nice but he is a limited scorer and isn’t a great free throw shooter either. Doesn’t look like that has changed yet.

  9. They really get the best out of young players in Toronto. This was against a bad team but he can really good there

  10. I thought he’d be a Boucher but maybe that was underestimating him.

Good for him. The trade was a puzzler, he wasn’t putting it together in a Warriors uniform and he showed hints he was better than we were getting.

  11. Good for him. He was not going to get played here so hoping he’ll have a successful career now that he’s been traded.

  12. This is the type of overreaction to one example- one game in garbage time against a terrible team- that shows the total lack of perspective or basic knowledge of ball for the majority of this sub. JFC.

Actually, not even that- just a moronic lack of ability to reason.

  13. I’m glad he’s been freed, lol. Being so far back in the lineup as a non-spacing slow-ish C was not the best way for him to get playing time here.

  14. Let’s not act like hes gonna get this type of opportunity every game…but so far so good

  15. TJD will have a good NBA career.

He has all this bounce and athleticism. I wish he learned from Draymond to better position himself and be a rock under the net. He could’ve been better against other centers. Work on his thigh strength and lower his center of gravity sometimes. Instead he’s light footed and gets bounced around. That, and worked on his touch near the rim and a few short range moves. He can still do it!

  16. I work for the raptors. Seeing him for the raps broke my heart but him having a good game made me happy

  17. It’s not that TJD couldn’t be effective. He’s just has a limited skillset and needs to be the right situation.
