The Texas Rangers signed pitchers Cal Quantrill and Ryan Brazier to minor league deals, further fortifying the depth of the rotation and the bullpen. Both have MLB experience and will fight for a roster spot in spring training.

  2. I really like having Gomber and Quantrill as 5th starter and or long man options. They both have experience and have shown a measure of durability. We'll take that all day.

  3. I believe people are severely underestimating the Rangers this year. I have seen the power rankings and none have the Rangers in the top 10. However, Rangers have solid rotation, solid defense (#2 last year), pretty good set up options and last year had 5th best bullpen.
    I live in nyc and have watched nimmo and he will hit and play his position with hustle.
    I think we’re seriously cooking with gas if the bats come alive for any substantial run and if no injury bug hits this year!
