What If The Pacers’ Plan Actually Works?
The Pacers are taking a gamble with the Ivica Zubac trade, but their added versatility, along with the return of Tyrese Haliburton could get them back to competing for an NBA championship.

There’s something oddly relaxing about this.
Had to ruin the 69th like with my like 🥀
They got fleeced. We all know the pick will be 5-9, but the Pacers management wants to make it look like a winner, knowing full well they have no chance at 1-4
Losing Mathurin is tough. His scoring played a huge role in the finals last season
Zu is slow, but so was Turner. Turner runs like he has a cramp. And Zu is a much more capable defender and rebounder. Mathurin added a great scoring spark, but he wasn’t gonna take anyone’s starting spot and it doesn’t make any sense to pay him 20+ mill when you don’t have a starting C. Even if the lottery doesn’t go their way, I still think this move made them a contender again. Hali has never lost a series when healthy, and now he has a true big man to clean the glass and set effective screens.
Why zubucs hasn't been heard about until he went to the clippers?
why they trade zubac tho
Only problem I see is that I think Zu is too good to not run some post offense with. Like with Myles they mainly only posted him up when he had a mismatch but with Zu that’s a legitimate offensive option. So I think they will slow down some bit
may be just wait what can/will rick do with new roster
Get well soon Furph 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I think y'all under estimate zubac role In this squad . He's a great fit
Every time I see clips of Pascal dunking on Jalen I react with joy n excitement 😂🎉
They didn’t keep every center they traded Isaiah Jackson to get zu
What’s interesting is with the way they’ve been playing this season. They may get a top four pick and if that’s the case, they will get to keep the draft pick and still get a marquee prospect while getting rid of dead weight
