Imagine if we would have been patient with him and had an actual NFL head coach at the time we had him.
We at least have direction now.
I’d definitely say it feels more bitter than sweet, though. Happy for Sam, and always happy to watch the Patriots lose, sure, but I can’t think of anything more emblematic of the fact this team wasted the better part of a decade.
I love how this is cool but everyone was totally against a kid who grew up a Panthers fan and who reps NC whenever he can.
Sam seems like a good guy, and he maintains class when talking about a former team. But that’s it.
