Will the Dallas Cowboys ‘Bust the Budget’ with at least ONE big free agent?

Jerry Jones once again used the term bust the budget when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys offseason. Will that mean there will be some urgency to getting a George Pickens deal done? Will they add a premium free agent?

Plus let’s play a little game of Dallas Cowboys Draft This or That?

We’ll put similarly ranked players for the 2026 NFL Draft against each other and see who Bryan Broaddus and myself prefer for the Dallas Cowboys.

Mansoor Delane or Jermod McCoy? Cashius Howell or Akheem Mesidor? CJ Allen or Anthony Hill?

And of course we’ll answer your questions throughout the show. Welcome to Trust the Tape!

  1. He’s a snake. He just convinces young men to get max money so he can be paid too. Micah is unhappy in GB. And that’s his agent’s fault. Watch how this Micah situation turns out for GB.

  2. Bust the budget? Muthaf***the budget!!! We need to go all in to win! Winning is better for Jerry's bottom line, than mediocrity. I seriously doubt the world's most popular football team losses value by winning a Super Bowl or two in the next 3 years. You can't sell me that kinda garbage.

  3. Not a great feee agent market this year. One player to keep in mind is LB Jaelyn Phillips. Pair him with Styles, Overshown and we cooking. With Pickens, wouldn’t it be great if Jerry signed GP quick just to stick it to Micah.

  4. Here is my perfect offseason. Sign Javonte Williams, GP3 and Clowney, bring in Riq Woolen in FA for our big splash addition. Gives us 2 Massive big, physical outside Corners in Woolen and Revel and then slide Bland back inside to the slot where he belongs and excels. Draft Downs or Styles at 12. Trade 20 and Future 2nd or 3rd and package Osa to LV. Go get us Crosby and lets go destroy everybody with this Top 5 offense and Defense and ball TF out…

  5. Kilgore is the most slept on Safety no one talks about. He plays strong & free + he can cover. In my opinion, he's a more versatile version of the Miami slot cb/fs because he can play SS.
