At least I’ve got fantasy baseball to keep me entertained!
Imo it’s never been easier to find out which IRL Cards fans around me simply don’t know ball. They were perfectly happy entering 24 and 25 with bad rosters as long as they were “trying” to compete. But now we actually have a direction and they think it’s a bad thing. I’m more excited for this year than I’ve been since pre-Covid.
We don’t report until Thursday.

I’m actually kind of excited. Yeah they may not win a lot of games but at least there’s a cohesive plan in place.
New scorebook and Bob Gibson jersey arrived in the mail yesterday. Nature is healing.
I don’t care if we’re gonna suck. I’m more excited about this season than I have the last few. Seems like we actually have a plan for once and we’re gonna get to see so many young guys play
I’m actually more excited about this spring training and season because we actually have a clear direction. Plus, I think this roster will be sneaky good
I’m ready to be hurt again
If there would be a time for planned suckage, why not do it while the Dodgers have a super-team and there is a pending work stoppage?
No better time to rebuild than right now. Dodgers have the NL locked up for the next couple of years
Wife: weren’t you just watching the world series like 2 weeks ago?
Me: pipe down babe, I need to see if crooks has made any adjustments to his approach
Ngl I am probably going to watch more cardinals baseball this year then the last like 3 years combined. They have direction, and a lot of young guys are going to get a ton of reps.
It is finally time
I’m just ecstatic there is a cohesive plan in place. I can stomach some bad baseball if there’s a purpose. Sure this team probably won’t win many games, but it’s going to be super fun to watch at least some of them progress right in front of our eyes
I started following the Cardinals again at the beginning of the 2024 season. I hadn’t watched them since I was a kid when we lived in Columbia. Even though we sucked the past few years, I was extremely excited and optimistic. Needless to say, I’m fucking hyped for this season, more so than ever before
If nothing else, it signals the approach of spring for those of us in the snow belt.
