  1. Other fanbases are going to hate this story, but as a GenZer that hopped on in 2010…I truly could not give a FUCK

  2. Not with this manager and the exact same roster as last year….

Wasting Aaron judges career.. this regime has to go Hal included..

Oh and the dodgers will 3 peat.. they are again stacked.

  3. I’m 33 so I’ve been privileged to see the dynasty rings at a very young age since my uncle was a die hard yankees fan and took me as a young child to those games and I was able to see the ring in 09 when I was a sophomore in high-school. Kids like the fireside dudes and some of the other young content creators really have no real memory of us ever winning anything. That has to be a weird thing. Then again they never had to live through losing that WS to the marlins or the collapse to the sox.

  4. What’s lost on Kuty is that for folks who have 16-year-old kids today – when they were children they had to go from 1978 to 1996 without seeing a championship. They also grew up watching some truly bad Yankee teams.

  5. Im now graduating college and havent been aware of a Yankees championship. However there was plenty of October mondays I didnt want to go to school. Get one for the children Cashman!

  6. And for Dodger fans under three months old, it has also been a lifetime World Series drought

  7. I mean, I’m 25 and I saw a win in my lifetime. It’s not *that* bad, but soon would be nice.

On the other hand, as a Cowboys fan…

  8. You know how I vote? With my dollars. I won’t support the team if I do not think they are putting a worthy product on the field. The Yankees decided to run it back in 2026. I will run it back as well. I will spend 0 dollars on this team.

  9. The Mets have been waiting a lifetime, the Yankees have barely been waiting an era.

  10. Being born in 1974, one of my first memories was beating the dodgers in 78, losing to the dodgers and my parents allowing me to stay up to watch the loss in 81 to the dodgers was my first taste of defeat that hurt. The 80’s Yankees up until 87-88, were better than given credit for and would have been a WC team every year if it existed back then. 1985 was arguably the best Yankee offense of that era. Don Mattingly became and still is my favorite all time player despite not winning a championship. They just never had pitching. There were some dark years that made 1996 so special. By 2000 winning became a given. 2001 hurt for sure. After the collapse of 2004 I didn’t think they would win again which again made 2009 really special. That was also the year my 16 year old son was born. He like many has never experienced yanks winning a championship. He for me like Mattingly has Judge, I really hope Judge doesn’t suffer the same fate as Mattingly and never win a ring.

  11. I didn’t see the Yankees win a World Series until I was 16, and now I live in a cardboard box behind a pet store and eat the dead hamsters that get thrown out.

Those things probably aren’t related, but still, you know, it would be nice if we won one.

  12. I was born in 78, so I’ve seen two of the largest droughts. When I was growing up, I didn’t think they’d ever win. And then they won so much when I graduated at high school through college. Now my kids are 21 and 20, and they were too young to witness the last one. I want to experience a victory with them, I want to share the excitement of a parade. For me, it’s about the way they go about their business now. They never seem to put the pedal all the way down to the ground. They do just enough and Hope. They aren’t willing to take a chance and go all in. Cashman makes terrible moves, which eat up his salary, which prevents them from completing a team every year. It’s extremely frustrating, watching players that they could’ve had, like Harper, Lee, Machado, and many more fall by the wayside because of his ego, and incompetence. I sincerely wonder when my kids will be able to see a championship.

  13. I’m a Sabres fan. If you’re complaining about a world series drought think of a 14 year playoff drought. Yankees WENT to the series in 2024. Y’all gotta toughen up a little if this is your stance. Plus its not happening anyway because we didn’t pull any deferred money or actually try to better the team

  14. Im 23 soon to be 24 all i can remember is the insane stretch of 2017 onwards  where its just embarassing loss or heartbreaking loss

  15. The only decades the Yankees haven’t won a World Series are the 1910s, 1980s, and 2010s. About to be 2020s too. The Yankees are more a brand than a sports franchise at this point.

  16. I got to see them win the World Series in 2009, in the first year ever of the new stadium. Forever grateful for the memory and was even better seeing all the Phillies fans on campus be dejected

  17. they will never win a world series as long and cashman and swindal jr are employed. swindal jr is an incompetent nepo hire that thinks baseball is just war, exit velo, and launch angle
