    For 1, Idk how the vikings let him walk, and 2, idk why we would get him if the vikings didnt, clearly there was more under the blanket than being seen..right?

    It felt like in Mario, when you punch a mystery box and dont know what power up you get, we couldve gotten a goomba for all we knew at that point, but instead we got the extra life instead

    His redemption arc alone, his skill in the championship, and his overall game management week in and week out is every reason he deserves a new contract, one that shows the whole league he is OUR qb in Seattle.

    This aint journeyman Sam anymore, he is the ghostbuster and now fully capable of winning us more chips.

  8. I love Sam. He needs a raise, but also understand that you have some elite players that need to get paid in one of the reasons you made it to the Super Bowl and one was because of those play players.

  10. Hell no. It would be a ridiculous conversation to have between Darnold's agent and Schneider. You sign a contract, honor the contract. If you don't like what's being offered, don't sign the contract. Especially when you're a free agent. Contract risk is a two-way street. Let's say Darnold sucked this year and the Seahawks cut him. Would the team be allowed to say "well even though you get paid this dead cap money, you sucked so bad that we're going to void the contract and you owe us this dead cap money". Both sides took a risk.
    Sam Darnold has a SB ring because of our defense. There are 20 other QBs in this league that if they were our QB, they'd have a SB ring now too. This is like Trent Dilfer or Nick Foles wanting to be a top 5 paid QB after they won a super bowl. Why? Because your name was announced as the person occupying the QB position?

  13. As long as we don't pay top of the market money to him then I'm fine with it, but at the same time Seattle does know when to move off of quarterbacks when it's time.

  14. Personally I think bloated QB contracts end up hurting their team. It’s obvious it takes more than just the QB to win championships. Darnold deserves a raise but not at the expense of hurting the team.

  19. K9 wants to be a Seahawk. I want to see that happen. This Sam Darnold extension caught me by surprise. It is pretty cool stuff, but my mind is not ready yet still in shock over this season.
