Cardinals’ ambidextrous pitcher makes MLB’s ‘must-watch’ list this spring

He’s a very good prospect with his right arm, but I’m very skeptical his left handed pitching will play in MLB. The stat splits are pretty brutal and Keith Law’s write up on him made it seem more like a fun gimmick than a serious professional skill.
Surely they mean “amphibious”. That’s what the media called the last ambidextrous pitcher.
Is he a natural lefty that can throw righty? Or a natural righty that can throw lefty?
An amphibious pitcher? No wonder he was on the mariners.
