Why did you make me remember he played for Cleveland?
Some say he’s still on his way to first, got lost in the showers
lol that dude was such a punk. total headcase
Love how the pitcher slowed down to make him look even worse.
MLB glazed this guy when he was a dodger. “Oh look he’s licking his bat! retweet ALL these gifs of it!”
scrubs.
Puig was such a bitch
This is why he’ll be starting for the prison team
Where’s Carlton Fisk when we need him?
He was the fucking worst.
Is it cus he was betting?
I still imagine what he could have been if the potential was not wasted
He was his own worst enemy.
Loser
“That time?” There were many examples!
Good to see that this guy turned his life around and isn’t a piece of shit anymore. Oh wait.
Wasn’t he out when he turned his back and started walking away? Regardless of the actual outcome.
That was literally the beginning of the end for him… Just so dumb
Puig escaped Cuba in a pretty harrowing experience, finally got to the US, finally for a chance to play in the bigs and make big money, and didn’t appreciate it *whatsoever*.
I’d love to see a psychological evaluation of Puig, that guy is out of his mind.
Waste of talent
He was so damn exciting for a minute there though. Its a shame thinking what could have been.
It’s one of those unwritten rules.
If we are honest it is kinda a waste of energy, similar to running out a line drive. There is maybe a .00001 chance something happens that does not result in an out in a case like this.
He was out, who cares why waste the energy to prove he can hustle.
Fun story: I was working at Target Field that day, and Puig was outside the stadium at the employee entrance. Security wouldn’t let him in without someone to vouch for him, so I did, and had to escort him to the visitors clubhouse. I told the story to my boss, and they laughed that if Puig did anything to beat the Twins that game he’d fire me. Then this play happened, and I was off the hook.
Meanwhile, Bobby Witt Jr is somehow hustling hard enough to get to first safely. You either love the game, or you don’t.
Would have been a great time for a 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9 putout
