INSTANT REAX!! Is there a bigger plan for 3B for Milwaukee Brewers???

Alec bohm is on the trade block
They have too many starting pitchers, but an injury and poor performance can quickly diminish that quality into quantity.
My guess is if Mitchell stays heathy, the “extra” outfielder will play third if they can’t pull a trade off with the pitching they have.
My guess is if they are going to trade to get a 3rd baseman/shortstop, it’s not gonna be a big name but it’s gonna be a above average guy who’s not too expensive and is just a seat warmer for the post lockout influx of youth. So a rental basically.
It doesn't matter. Nobody is beating the Dodgers.
They have done pretty good job on the trades I am not panicking yet 😆
Most people are lazy and like to complain. If you're that negative about the Crew, find another team to root for.
Milwaukee has become the gold standard for how a small market team in MLB can continually stay in contention on a yearly basis. They've set the blue print. I don't know how Brewers fans can question them at this point, but it will likely stay that way until they win a WS.
Pitching is more expensive than hitting is one thing and the other thing is they think Durbin only has so much upside or just don't really believe in what he did last year. Thirdly, this trade could be setting up things for another trade.
The negative reaction is because it's so often ONE STEP AHEAD ahead and TWO STEPS BACK. They're always trading developed for undeveloped, never trading for an above average, proven MLB talent to fill a hole. How the hell did they not demand Duran in this deal?
I liked the Willie deal, I liked every other trade the Brewers have made, but Durbin was they're best hitter, he earned that spot, you needed a short stop, you traded your 3Baseman not a good trade
Burnes was a terrible trade don’t even start. He won a cy young and we got two guys who are MLB average at best. We could’ve used him a lot in 2024 when we got beat by the Mets. He would’ve had a lot more value than DL Hall and Joey Ortiz had.
So the Brewers have traded away a pitcher, traded their 3rd baseman for two pitchers. Now they have too many pitchers so they can trade a pitcher for a new 3rd baseman… Sounds about right!
I like making changes. Always try to get better!
If you want to compete with Milwaukee's payroll this is the kind of alchemy it takes. I've learned to trust. "Come with me if you want to live" – (matt) Arnold
I think a trade with the Astros for Isaac Perrades as they have Cam Smith for that spot. Go Brewers!!!
