  1. Need as many assets in this years draft to compete in 26. Trading mac might be a necessity. Cant afford any luxeries at backup. Need players. Or trade purdy? If someone bites. Mac could be the new Sam. Beef up

  2. Trade Mac for early 2nd round pick. Should trade Bosa for picks as well. This team got old fast & more than likely they will have multiple players with injuries again in 2026

  3. Purdy needs to prove he can play one full season before even considering trading Mac ! In my opinion looking back Mac had our offense clicking damn good without anyone , Purdy had more weapons when he came back this last season

  4. You can't give up a starting quarterback for less than a 1st round unless it's 2 – 2nd round picks. How can you get 2 1st round picks for a defensive end but only get a 2nd round for a quarterback? That sounds remedial to me.

  5. I would trade Mac in a heart beat! They need draft picks to fix the trenches. I mean so what if our back up is awesome if we are still the 3rd best roster in the nfc west. Mac will definitely be playing and our 50 million dollar qb will be on injured reserve if they play next year with that line again.

  6. Everyone gonna be crying when Brocks injured with 50+ million dollar price tag and our qbs are Kurtis Rourke and Adrian Martinez…. we need to follow Seattle's plan…. I'd rather give Mac Jones 30m a year, and trade Brock for draft capital… we need that killer D to get SB#6

  7. All this talk of trading Mac Jones for draft picks is silly. You always have to get equal or better value when you make a trade. The value in Mac Jones is that heʻs a QB1. There is no other single player on any team which has more impact on the W-L column than the QB1. Seattleʻs massive D-line is 4 guys, not 1. Myles Garrett is the best D-end in the league and set a new sack record this year. What was Clevelandʻs record? You have to figure what value Mac Jones makes for a team, and get at least that much value in return. Draft picks are a crap shoot. Look how badly the Niners have done in the draft over the years. Mac Jones for Maxx Crosby wouldnʻt be enough. If Crosby is so good, why donʻt the Raiders have a better record?

Teams who really want Mac Jones for their QB1 have to give up at least as much value, if not more. That would be at least 1 pro bowl caliber player plus draft picks. Nothing less. When you get a pro bowl player, you get someone who is a known, performing player. Draft picks have at least a 50% chance of being a waste.
