If Deshaun Watson is healthy, my money is on Todd Monken to get him back to a Pro Bowl level. If he’s healthy, I think if anybody can pull that out of him, it’s Todd Monken. Yes, they probably would be talking Deshaun Watson extension if he’s playing at a Pro Bowl level and wins 10 games for them. You don’t let a Pro-Bowl-caliber quarterback walk out the door if he’s playing at that level.

    Look, just bc Media spun things for clicks , while neglecting (for the most part) mentioning the reality of the 1-time starter here and Probowler
    And his looming massive $46M cap hit that auto-MATICALLY keep him relevant as a potential starter, AND DEFINITELY built-in QB controversy
    He's ALWAYS been in the picture

  22. It's not unbelievable. I'm sure Monken has watched the tape of Stefanski trying to turn Watson into a game manager QB and laughed his @$$ off. Monken no doubt has confidence that he can get Deshaun back to superstar form IF Deshaun is completely healthy.

  25. I think it would be crazy to not take a look and see what Watson has left in the tank..you have to have competition in the QB room..You just don't hand over the keys to SS without seeing what you have..plus competition is a good way to motivate the QB's you have

  33. To be fair… Mary K been wrong a lot lately and you got to take what she say with a grain of salt. She losing credibility at this point about her inside sources.
