I am once again ready to have my heart broken
I still don’t think we made enough moves in the offseason to win a WS, but no doubt in my mind, I’m so ready to get hurt again.

Don’t let him have a say in the offense because he was a disaster for the Jays

Non-zero chance that Mattingly is the head coach in a couple months
Couldn’t add talent on the roster so Dombrowski brought in Don Mattingly to put us over the top.

You have to wonder with two veterans of the game, what their dynamic will be. They have their own appreciations of the game and there’ll always some difference in perspectives. I hope those differences are trivial and they complement each other well (you also hope they’ve assessed that before bringing Don on board). Let’s hope this works out for the team.
