Defensive tackle is a glaring need, along with safety. I also think the left tackle position will be addressed with Trapillo out for the year. Last offseason, it felt like the Bears focused on building an offense capable of running Ben Johnson's system. This year, it seems like we'll focus on building a defense for Dennis Allen.
Forgot about Edmundโs possible cut candidate
Super Bowl LXI will be Pats vs Bears Iโm calling it ๐ฅ
LG is our biggest need. That JoeY Thuney guy is a useless & OVERPAID

The Bears biggest need is DT. They gave up a 5 ypc average for the season. Have to stop the run in order to even be able to rush the passer. Interest insight about Akheem Mesidor playing DT in the NFL. I think Dennis Allen likes versatility along the defensive line, so he could be an interesting option if he can help both the run and pass defense from different positions on different downs.
An impactful DT is the biggest need, also speed on the defense.
They already resigned Benedet
DT and Edge for sure. Need 2 new ones at each position
Yea all of our guys will be resigning soon except a couple we good yall just donโt know ๐
LT an edge
Got to get those sacks cut down more
It's funny when people bring up the Bears SOS for the 2026 season, how it is a first place schedule and is considered the hardest schedule but they seem to ignore the deeper look at it. Yes, the Bears will play five division winners next year (Jags, Pats, Eagles, Seahawks and Panthers) but they will also play the NFC South (who didn't have any team over .500) and the AFC East (the Dolphins and the Jets) so that balances it out IMO. I think that as long as the Bears go .500 or better in the division, they'll most likely make the playoffs. I could see the Bears going 4-2 in the division, possibly sweeping the NFC South, so there's 8 wins, beat both the Jets and Dolphins, that's 10 wins, then it's just one more win against the Jags, Patriots, Eagles, Bills and Seahawks, and they are in. I can see the Jags and Patriots being slight regression teams (the Bears certainly could be that as well), so if you win those two games, that's 12 wins and probably the division, if not the top WC spot in the NFC.
Mesidor!!!
