Just put Slovakia up 2-1 in the 3rd. Won an O zone draw to start the play. A few moments later, he added a PP assist (after another O zone draw win vs. Aho) as Slakovsky made it 3-1.

  3. Hopefully we get Dvo on the same line as Slaf over the course of the tournament. Those two are showing great for Slovakia.

  12. God I love Olympic hockey, where goalies who will never sniff the NHL become world beaters and giants fall.

    Legitimately a fantastic win for the Slovaks, their program has started generating way more high end talent.

    It’s a crime we won’t see a Slovakia vs Czechia game, that’s such a good rivalry.

  19. This is why hockey is my favorite sport. At the end of the day, it’s a team game. The team with great chemistry and a little luck on their side can overcome a massive talent difference on any given day.

  26. Its looking more and more like Dvorsky & Thomas will be a great 1-2 punch down the middle for us for a long time, no need to hit the panic button and move Thomas.
