in January of 2025, I made the decision to get into football. I grew up around the sport but never really understood beyond the basics or cared to learn, and I never really had a team. But as time went on and the treacherous Patriots dynasty was officially over and Super Bowl LVI proved non-dynasty teams can actually win something big, that drew me back to the NFL. So, after a lot of contemplating between teams (and man, it was a hard decision), I decided to be a Rams fan. I did my Rams/NFL "homework," got my first jersey (a royal Kupp jersey) and waited for the season to begin, and I could've never expected back then for the 2025 season to be so fucking good. Yeah, this post is a little late and yeah it didn't end the way we all hoped for, but the impact this team had on me from the players, to the staff, to the fans, is just undeniable. Seeing Matthew "The GOAT" Stafford go out there and sling it every week and win the MVP award after everyone doubted him all preseason and off season was so rewarding and honestly this season's highlight for me. Watching the team get on the field and ball out on both offense and defense was such a treat that I don't take for granted. Sure, mistakes were made and some games were lost, but the wins we celebrated made up for it for me, whether it was an actual win, an insane catch by Puka, or Stafford being the MVP after such a close vote. This team showed a lot of resilience this season and won a lot of games they "shouldn't have" like the Wild Card game against the Bears for an example. They just didn't give up this season and I'm so damn proud of them for that. This season will truly live on in my memory forever. Becoming a fan of the Rams has been one of the best decisions I've ever made. So, from everyone with the team, to the fans, I sincerely thank you for creating such an awesome experience. Can't wait for what's to come in September!πŸ’™πŸ’›

  1. This feeling that we gifted it away will fuel the next 3 years

I don’t even think winning a championship will make this right, we want multiple rings

  2. Here’s the thing, only one team each year wins the big prize. I have set my expectations to get to the playoffs and win a game. Everything after that is gravy, and too many things can happen to derail a season, matchups, weather, injuries, etc.

  3. I think people gotta remember to enjoy seasons even if we come up short. The 2018 rams season is still one of my favorites and we lost that one. This season was extremely special and I’m not letting the loss take away from how fun this season was (and rough as well). Glad you enjoyed this season and hope we have another good one next year.
