  1. The best closer… ever.

And the postseason version made the regular season version look like garbage.

  2. Mo going into a close game was like going home to nice heated blanket on a cold winters night. best closer i’ve ever seen and he shortened games by his mere presence. You had to have a lead in the 8th vs us to be relevant during that time frame. i really miss him.

  3. Don’t want to be a downer but what happened to the lawsuit that he got? Can’t seem to find any updates on it after it was reported last year.

  4. I was there! It’s the only game I felt I had to go to. Begged my dad to help me buy tickets because I couldn’t swing it on my own. He did an awesome thing and bought two tickets, I paid for parking and dinner. We sat pretty high up, but it was just perfect.

Anyway, it was a really special game. 2008 was a tough year for the Yankees, but I’m glad I got to be there for the last game at the Cathedral. I wish they never moved.
