No, it doesn’t. Wings window can stay open for a long time if they manage assets properly. Difference with the Tigers is this is basically going to be their best shot because Skubal isn’t coming back. Steve will make a trade or two at the deadline, but I don’t think it’s going to be a top tier move. It will be an upgrade, but probably not what you’ll hype it up to be.
Did Steve blame the owner or did he say the team wasn’t in a place to make a move or that there wasn’t value at a fair market price?
It depends on the price if Stevie is gonna spend any crazy assets it better be for a center with term or I don’t want it. Larkin also needs to be better down the stretch he’s been doing this now his whole career slowing down when it matters he honestly should have skipped the Olympics it’s a meaningless tournoment without Russia. Assets matter big time. Look at the lions and how they wasted there assets and the position they are in now.
